Description
***DRAFT RFP*** Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center intends to solicit and award the C-38A Aircraft Contractor Logistics Support effort located at 201st Airlift Command, Andrews AFB, MD. The Government anticipates this solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with one base year and six option years. The C-38A Industry Day will be held on 24 March 2003 at the 38 EIG (Hill Theater), BLDG 4023, Tinker AFB OK for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 5) to the point of contact listed below. Offerors are requested to submit questions (preferably via email)pertaining to the C-38A Industry Day Conference to the point of contact noted below as soon as possible. The C-38A are missionized versions of the FAA certified and maintained commercial aircraft Model 1125A Astra SPX business jets manufactured by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI). Under this contract, the contractor will provide all supplies/services necessary to establish Base Operations for two C-38A Aircraft, with a possibility of additional aircraft added at a later date. The contractor will provide all labor and material to operate and maintain a Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS)and Engineering Support. The 201st ANG will provide organizational and partial depot maintenance (phase inspections and tech order authorized depot work). The CLS contractor will provide major depot work. A Flying Hour CLIN will be composed of the repair of recoverables, replenishment of expendables/consumables, replenishment of expendable material parts required to maintain support equipment, repair and calibrate support equipment, replenishment of bench stock, and all associated material handling. Over and Above CLINs, consisting of Firm Fixed Price by Event will be established for modifications, maintenance, and other work effort performed outside the scope of normal operational requirements. In addition a Data CLIN will be established to provide all required reports/documentation/technical information.
