- The 347th Contracting Squadron/MSCB is seeking sources to procure Diver Locker Technicians. FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES: The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7389. The North American Industry Classification System is 541990. The procurement is 100% small business set aside. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is S10. Interested offerors must be CCR registered. Provide a quote for the following item(s): CLIN 0001: Short Term contract for two Master Diver Technicians to maintain diving and water operations equipment compliance and operational readiness. Personnel must have/or shall provide: (1) extensive knowledge of, and practical experience with, the following: (a) US Navy maintenance and material, management (3M) system, maintenance and repair of SCUBA diving systems, and general diving/maritime operations and training procedures; (2) Assistance by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors; (3) Support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of Combat Rescue Officers and Pararescue personnel. Military diving experience and credibility in the Navy or Air Force dive community. (4) Qualifications of US Navy Master Diver with current certification, demonstrate knowledge of US Navy recompression chamber operation, familiarity with recognition and treatment of diving medical emergencies outlined in the US Navy Dining manual, Volume 5, experience in certification and maintenance of high-pressure air systems and other underwater breathing apparatus, experience in implementation and use of the 3M systems, as it applies to diving, for near-term and long-term equipment requirements, have average writing ability with sufficient technical background to analyze data from various equipment tests, read blueprints and schematic drawings, understand specifications, and interpret illustration parts breakdowns and other publications used in the field of specialization.
