Description

Note 22 applies. The Federal Highway Administration, Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD), intends to enter into a contract with Dynatest Consulting, Inc., manufacturer of the Dynatest Model 8000 Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). This FWD is compatible with existing equipment and software that are being used as part of the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP)and Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program. The SHRP-LTPP in coordination with the American Association of State Highway Transportation Engineers (AASHTO) has developed a new procedure for pavement design where the Dynatest FWD is the basis of the new procedures. The estimated value of this acquisition is $225,000. Exception to Note 22: the Government will consider proposals received within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
