- Description
- This project will consist of furnishing, mobilizing, and operating equipment, with operators, and personnel for the removal of flood deposited debris and flood related materials from public and private property areas downstream of Canyon Lake Dam adjacent to the Guadalupe River in the Sattler area. Disposal may include haul off of materials and burning of materials. The areas of work will be identified on the construction drawings and method of work detailed in Construction Specification 451. Work will be conducted through an equipment rental service contract and will be directed by NRCS field personnel. Approximately 5 weeks will be required to complete the work activities. Various types of equipment will be utilized to conduct the debris removal activity. Only one award will be made for the entire project. The NAICS Code is 283910. Performance period will be 43 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed date, which will be approximately April 2, 2003. This project is unrestricted. Price range is from $25,000 to $100,000. Site showing will be conducted on March 17, 2003, 10:00 A.M., at Comal County Commissioners Court, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels TX 78130. Solicitation will be posted and be available to download on or about March 13, 2003.
