- Description
- The Corporation for National and Community Service is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to award a five (base period with four option periods) year contract for the administration of its self-insured health benefits program. The program will cover approximately 6,000 AmeriCorps*VISTA Members and 1200 AmeriCorps*NCCC Members. The successful offeror shall provide: (1) quality administrative services at a competitive price; (2) access to network providers in all member locations; (3) subscriber utilization review service (to be accessed via an 800 telephone number); and (4) assistance in managing the cost of this program day-to-day and on a long term basis. CNCS?s objective is to manage the cost of health benefits while generally maintaining a comprehensive level of benefits, therefore the offeror should be able to provide a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or other network arrangement cost management strategy.
