- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 4TFG57032178 and is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This requirement is being set aside for small business pursuant Subpart 19.000 and Subpart 19.5. This requirement is for the contractor to investigate all applications of the Master-Regulating Clock; determine if the DATUM-Cesium Beam Tube is completely interchangeable (form, fit, function), and provide specific reports. Desired period of performance is from date of award through 31 Mar 03. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, award will be made to the offeror who will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (a); (b) 0(1), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (16). All interested offerors shall submit a request for Statement of Work via e-mail to teresa.carrington@gsa.gov and angie.rogero@gsa.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals, representations and certifications may be submitted via e-mail to the address below or fax to (404) 331-3605.
