Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to Thomson Financials I/B/E/S (address of Thomson, i.e. LA CA). Thomson shall provide (1) Historical Detail Earnings, (2) Earnings Surprise Predictor, (3) Current Consensus Data, (accessed via CD-ROM with monthly updates) and (4) Consensus Data ? Compustat (consisting of a monthly consensus-level synopsis provided via dedicated terminal). The aforementioned information services shall be provided for one year (FY-03) at an estimated price of $70,000. Thomson Financial is the only known source that possesses the historical database capability required by the SEC. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide this service, which shall be considered by the agency.
