- Description
- The Umatilla National Forest intends to solicit proposals and award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Forest Inventory Analysis (FIA) Forest Inventory. The solicitation will be posted electronically to FedBizOpps on or about January 9, 2003. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, except those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals to perform all work specified herein for locating and measuring FIA Forest Inventory plots and providing digital delivery of data on National Forest lands in the Blue Mountain Contracting Zone. Work shall be in accordance with the procedures detailed in "Field Instructions for the Annual Inventory of Oregon, 2003" hereafter referred to as "Field Instructions." These inventory plots will be installed on top of selected Current Vegetation Inventory Plots, with the new FIA plot design consisting of four subplots and two transects per subplot. Road access to each plot is not guaranteed. Access to the plots may have short or very long walk-ins. The period of performance is May 5, 2003 through September 26, 2003.
