- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) at Quantico, VA intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Syracuse, NY, 13221 for one (1) AN/TPS-59(V)3 radar system and associated equipment, supplies and services in support of a Foreign Military Sale. This procurement is in accordance with Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) No. BA-P-LAH. This LOA is between the United States of America and the Government of the State of Bahrain. The AN/TPS-59(V)3 Radar is a tactical, long range, 3-Dimensional air search radar system capable of detecting and tracking Air Breathing Targets (ABTs) and Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBMs). The system provides data to, and can be integrated with, tactical and strategic Command and Control (C2) centers. The system can also be configured to operate in integrated or autonomous Ground Control Intercept modes. This procurement will include all logistics and support equipment required to produce, test, install, operate and maintain the system in a tactical environment. Lockheed Martin is the only known, responsible source with the knowledge, data, equipment and experience capable of supplying this system. See Note 22.
