- NA This solicitation is for a Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Type Contract where up to one (1) contract may be awarded to provide a full spectrum of Environmental Remediation Construction and/or Environmental Remediation Services as identifie d in NAICS code 562910 within the United States and its Territories on a firm fixed-price basis. Up to one (1) contract may be awarded using unrestricted competition procedures. The total contract capacity for this contract awarded under this solicitation will be $200 Million. Individual Task Orders for work under this Contract may be issued to the aw ardee of this contract for Environmental Remediation Construction, Environmental Remediation Services or a mixture of Construction/Services, but primarily when there is a need for this type of contract where the majority of the work is defined as Construct ion per FAR Part 2.101. The major components of this RFP include the following: 5-Year (basic performance period of three (3) years and one (1) option period for two (2) years, or until the contract capacity ceiling limit of $200,000,000 is reached, whichever occurs first) Firm-F ixed Price Contract, Underwriter Protection for the Government, Performance Based Statements of Work, 5-year Warranty of the Sites after site-closeout, and an ID/IQ Type Contract where Environmental Construction and/or Service Based Task Orders are awarded under this solicitation. This project will be competed using a single-step process and proposal submittals shall be due on the specific time and date, as well as all proposal requirements, will be specified in the RFP to be released by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha Distr ict under Solicitation Number DACA45-03-R-0029 on or about 15 March 2003. This solicitation shall be available through INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents shall be posted to this website. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the web site. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to check the websit e for amendments and/or notifications. It is also the responsibility of the Contractor to acknowledge all amendments in the proposal documents when submitted.
