- NA The government intends to award a Sole-Source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee acquisition to Custom Manufacturing and Engineering, Inc. The 24-month effort is for Intelligent Power Management System interoperable vehicular and man-portable power management hardware a nd software to provide technologically advanced intelligent power management solutions for Army shelters, generators, generator sets, components of the Future Combat System and Objective Force through designing, developing and demonstrating technology enab lers that can be incorporated in future systems and used to modernize legacy AC/DC power distribution networks. An option for an additional 24 months will further advance the technology into a broader, integrated, power management and control system soluti on. The action is follow-on to efforts performed by Custom Manufacturing and Engineering, Inc. on Contract DAAB07-01-C-L716 and will rely extensively on previous efforts on Intelligent Power Management System.
