- Description
- This procurement is for the acquisition of 125 STINGER M934E6 Fuzes in support of the STINGER Missile System. Award of this acquisition is by modification to the current contract is planned for Sippican, Inc, Seven Barnabas Road, Marion, Massachusetts, 02738. Sippican is the current fuze system prime contractor responsible for the STINGER M934E6 Fuze. Sippican possess the Government owned and validated Special Acceptance Inspection Equipment and Test Facilities (SAIE&TF) used to manufacture this item. Based upon the STINGER Product Office Technical Assessment, there are no other sources that can produce the STINGER Fuzes within the schedule that requires deliveries of fuzes within 12 months after contract award. Any information provided will be at no cost to the Government. Commercial items are preferred.
