Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NIH, National Institute on Aging, Intramural Research Program, Laboratory of Molecular Gerontology, Gerontology Research Center, 5600 Nathan Shock Drive, Baltimore, MD 21224 has a requirement for an Ultracentrifuge for 220-240v, 60 Hz operation. It must provide speeds to 100,000 rpm and forces to 802, 400 x g. The centrifuge must be able to provide run simulations to determine most efficient parameters. It must be air-cooled (freon free). It must be imblance intolerant to 5mls and have a rotor safety classification of "S". Centrifuge must require no rotor logging. It must have interactive Windows software for advanced operations. We have a Beckman L8-80M Ultracentrifuge to be traded-in. Include your trade-in price for this equipment.
