- Description
- Description The Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL) is seeking interest from potential vendors in development and design of a closure system for remotely handled waste packages. Potential groups include suppliers of welding equipment, nondestructive examination equipment, inerting equipment, and remote and automated handling equipment. Interested parties must have demonstrated experience in one or more areas: welding of stainless steel and nickel-based alloys according to ASME code standards, nondestructive examination of stainless steel and nickel-based alloys according to ASME code standards, inerting of sealed metal containers, or remote operations and vision systems that could be applied in a high radiation field. All suppliers must also be capable of being approved by the RW-0333P quality assurance program.
