- Description
- The project consists of professional services to conduct Cadastral Survey. Services are within the boundaries Chippewa National Forest located in Beltrami, Cass and Itasca Counties, in north central Minnesota. Work is to be performed to Forest Service standards and include: The restoration and maintenance of the original General Land Office corners and the establishment of National Forest property corners and geodetic coordinates. Work will also include the marking and posting or maintenance of National Forest property lines. There will be up to four bid items (project areas) ranging in size from one to four section subdivisions. There may be up to four awards. To be considered, submit an SF-254 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire), an SF-255 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project), and a minimum of 4 exhibits (Corner Certificates and Certificates of Survey), which demonstrate the work of the principal surveyor identified to do the work. The following factors will be evaluated in descending order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence of the proposed personnel in the type of work required; (3) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (4) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (5) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with the performance schedules. All data, including SF-254 and SF-255 must be submitted by April 8, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. local time, to the address below, in order to be considered for this project. The project will begin in May 2003 and will have a completion date of 150 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
