- Description
- The project is for paving the existing concrete bridge deck and the first 15 meters of approach on each side of bridge. Work includes subgrade excavation of approximately 44 cubic meters including removal and disposal of waste material, placing and compacting approximately 33 cubic meters of crushed aggregate and laying approximately 34 tons of asphalt. All materials are contractor furnished. There are no government - furnished water sources available at the river for the project except for emergency fire measures, due to Drought Plan. Payment for water is incidental to other applicable pay items. The project is located approximately 40 miles northerly of Klamath Falls on Chiloquin Ranger District, Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon. From the Chiloquin Ranger Station head north approximately 11 miles to Forest Service Road 43, known as the Kirk Road. On Forest Service Road 43 head approximately one-half mile to the bridge. The project is estimated less than $25,000. This is an emerging small business set-aside. Issue date is March 18, 2003.
