- Description
- This project consists of Roadside Brushing for safety and site clearing along Forest Road 11s40 (McKinley Grove Rd). The length of this project is approximately 16.5 miles, with a bid additive for an additional 8.0 miles along Forest Road 10S16 (Courtright Road). Project Location: The project is located on the High Sierra Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The project is located approximately 65 miles Northeast of Clovis, CA. From Clovis proceed Northeast approximately 50 miles on Highway 168 to the community of Shaver Lake, then proceed East on County Road M2440 (Dinkey Creek Rd) for approximately 13 miles to intersection of the Forest Service Road 11S40 (McKinley Grove Rd). The Brushing Project begins at this intersection and proceeds East along the McKinley Grove Road. No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled. Bidders may request information and directions to the site by contacting Jim Madron at (559) 297-0706 ext. 4842, between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm, Monday - Friday. Exept legal holidays. Estimated Contract: 45 days. Estimated Start Work Date: May 19, 2003. ***WHEN SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS AND AVAILABLE FOR VENDORS TO DOWNLOAD.
