- Description
- This acquisition is for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract to repair and construct pavement at March Air Reserve Base, California. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 23411 with a size standard of $28,500,000. The Government intends to award an unrestricted Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a basic year period of 12 months, with two 1-year option periods. The solicitation will only be issued electronically on or about 13 Jan 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunites website at http://www.eps.gov, with a bid opening date on or about 13 Feb 2003, at 452 Operational Contracting Office, Bldg 449, March ARB CA 92518-1650. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package nor planholder list. Fax, telephone, written or email requests for the solicitation package and planholder will not be honored. All questions concerning this IFB must be submitted in writing 7 working days prior to bid opening date. NOTE: The solicitation issuance date is an estimate, not an actual, and the actual can be before or after the stated date. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring the EPS website for the release of the solicitation package, as well as any possible amendments that may occur during the solicitation process. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)in order to be eligible for award. Registration may take up to 3 weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr2000.com and follow the instructions. NOTE: The response date cited above does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid preparation costs. The Government reserves the right to cancel this procurement/solicitation either before or after the bid opening date, with no obligation to the bidder by the Government.
