Description

This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The FBO site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsble for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ#0023247), using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis with Lafayette Instrument Company for the purchase of the following: (1)LX4000-SW USB WIN DAS Polygraph w/o computer & printer - Qty 35 each (2)Polygraph accessory items. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, all information must be received within fifteen (15) days after date of this synopsis in order to be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
