Description
The Inter-American Foundation (IAF) through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt, intends to issue an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract providing for time and materials and fixed-price orders to obtain professional services to support IAF work in promoting grassroots development in Brazil. The contractor will provide administrative and technical support to grantee organizations, in person and/or by telephone, and will clarify criteria and issues such as the participation of potential partners. The Project Coordinator (PC) will coordinate and lead an orientation visit to new IAF grantees, and conduct or participate in approximately four to six dissemination activities per year, e.g., presentations, speeches, and writing articles. Examples of tasks the PC will perform are as follows: organize and conduct one field-based learning exchange for grantees to share information about IAF grants; organize a regional meeting of IAF grantees to socialize program results for the Brazilian development community; assist and meet with IAF personnel visiting Brazil; and, provide monthly activity and financial reports to the COTR on all activities carried out under this contract. The IAF may require other technical assistance related to services for IAF grantees, these will be described in appropriate task order requests. One of the requirements for the contract is fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The contract will be for one year with four option year periods. All communication must be in English.
