- MARKET RESEARCH REQUEST TO RECEIVE DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE AND PRICING INFORMATION TO PURCHASE A BAND SAW WITH THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTIVE FEATURES: Large bandsaw to meet industrial woodcutting needs. Saw must meet the following requirements: Wood Type: - Oak, Fir, Maple, Pine (Sometimes frozen) Max Cant Size: -14" x 14" Max Cant Length: - 16' - However 90% of time at 4' Min Cant Length: - 2' - Ensure a 2' log wont fall through bed at any point Angle Cutting Facility: 0 - 500 Blade must tilt CW or CCW around the z-axis Not essential that blade rotates around the y-axis Feed Type: -Automatic Feed Speed: - Not Crucial Power: - Whatever needed to meet above req. Electrical Requirements:- 440V, 3 Ph, 60 Hz +/- 10% Band Dim: - Whatever needed to meet above req. Kerf: - Not Crucial Conveyance/Bed*: - 28" Wide (Offset max 14" to cut angles) Control Type: - CNC with Manual option - if not possible then a Manual control is best.
