- Description
- DESCRIPTION: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) provisions to support the office of program managers with highly specialized and unique technical and engineering requirements within the Electro-Magnetics Systems Department, Code 34. The contract specifically addresses theoretical analysis, modeling/prototyping, experimental testing, and programmatic activities in support of advanced submarine electromagnetics. The period of performance will be five years from date of award. The total estimated level of effort is 152,100 man-hours. The Key categories of labor are Management Analyst II, Logistician III, Scientist III and Design Engineer IV. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the Government. Multiple awards may be made. Award will be based on best value. Evaluation factors will be: Technical Capability and Cost. Technical capability sub-factors will be Personnel and Past Performance. This acquisition is a follow-on to N66604-99-D-0508 with Science Applications International Corporation. This acquisition is unrestricted.
