Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD has a SOLE SOURCE requirement to repair, modify or overhaul in order to return to Ready For Issue (RFI) condition the assemblies in the AN/ASN-145 Attitude Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) navigational system. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis under Request for Quotation N00421-03-T-0106 with Northrop Grumman Corporation Navigation Systems Division, 2211 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84116-2993. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Procurement will be made via a DPAS DX-1 rated government purchase order, which will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2003-01 and DFARS DCN 20030214. The applicable NAICS code is 334511 and the applicable FSC code is J016. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with Northrop Grumman should be submitted no later than 19 March 2003 via email to Ms. Mary Ann Foran at ForanMA@navair.navy.mil. Electronic responses shall include company name, single point of contact, telephone number, complete address, and company business size. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Numbered Note 22.
