Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DABJ25-03-T-0040 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The requirement is unrestricted with a NAICS Code of 332410, SIC Code 3443 size standard of 500 employees. State if FOB is Destination or Origin. If Origin, state shipping charges. Delivery is to be approximately 2 weeks af ter receipt of order to G3, I Corps, Bldg 2025, Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9500. Any award resulting from this request for quotations will be made to a responsive, responsible quoter using a SF1449 form. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest price. Award will be made on an ?all or none? basis. IAW FAR 52.211-6, if quotes are provided for an ?equal? item, specifications must be submitted. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. An addendum to this provision i s applicable, in which the term offeror (whenever it appears) shall be replaced with the term quoter. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with thei r quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses within 52.212-5(b) are applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-6, 52.219-4, 52.219-8, 52.222.21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.232-33. The following clause within DFAR S clause 252.212-7001(a) is applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-3. The following clauses within DFARS clause 252.212-7001(b) are applicable to this acquisition , 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252-225-7036, 252.243-7002, 252.247-7023 and 252.247-2024. DFA RS clause 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration is applicable to this acquisition. Quotes are due on March 7, 2003, at 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Quotes may be faxed to the Directorate of Contracting, Attn: Doraine Robertson at 253-967-3844, along w ith the completed representations and certifications. Description of Work. Line Item 1: 2 Each dual heat exchange/AC units to include: The maximum height, when mounted on a trailer with a deck height of 24??, cannot exceed 103?. This specification is critical because it will ensure that the unit will be tran sportable by C-130. Any violation of this specification will make the equipment non-deployable. The unit must at a minimum produce 240,000 BTU of air conditioning. The unit must at a minimum produce 156,000 BTU of heat. The unit must be a two stage sys tem with 2-10Ton scroll compressors, phase protection, 5HP evaporator blower motor (1.0? ESP), hot gas bypass (1st circuit only), Ranco thermostat, a phase reversal indicator light, an hour meter, manual override switch, Hi & Low pressure controls, adjusta ble expansion valves, refrigerant R-22, liquid receivers (each circuit), filter driers (each circuit), suction and discharge gauges, stainless steel drain pan, cleanable filters, and a transition duct to round flex on inlet. The unit must have a removable field installed discharge plenum with 20? duct connections forward facing, guards on the condenser inlet and discharge, and a 4-way lifting pod. The unit must be painted green with military CARC paint. The unit must also have a 45KW electric heat 2 stage (located in the inlet air path), 50-feet of power cord, color code 4-strand with quick cam-lock en ds, 4-25 foot x 20? (per-unit) diameter insulated hose, olive drab with heavy duty black wear strip, and 7? pitch and zipper/Velcro cuffs each end 4 Cam-Lock Panel. Line Item 2: 2 each Kohler 4 Cycle Diesel Generator Kohler 150kW Power Systems 190-600V 4 Cycle Diesel Part #: 150kWDG, Mfg Part #: 150REZJB.
