- Description: PR Number(s): FD2020-02-65808, FD2020-03-23937. Item: 0001, NSN: 1377-01-502-8981, P/N: 9927150, The BBU-63/B is the only cartridge approved for use on the BRU-44 Rack. It is electrically initiated and case grounded. An integral cylindrical aluminum case contains a sealed ignition mixture, separation and closure disk, ignition and booster charges, a propellant main charge sealed in with a consumable closure disk. This rack is used on the B-2 Acft. When functioned, this cartridge generates the pressure required to function the rack properly for bomb releases.
