- NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: This CBD announcement constitutes a Notice of Contract Action for the purpose of notifying small businesses of potential subcontracting opportunities. The Contracting Office, HQ AETC/LGCU at Randolph AFB TX proposes to award a contract to CAE SimuFlite, Dallas TX by 01 April 2003, pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C.2304 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement, for C-21A Academic & Simulator Pilot Training services. The required service is for the contractor to provide personnel, devices, facilities, courseware, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform C-21A Pilot Training. The contract will provide for a six-month basic period, running from 01 April 2003 through 30 September 2003 with six one-month option periods. The total period of performance for the basic contract and six options is 12 months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider all quotes received prior to closing date, approximately 17 March 2003. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to CAE SimuFlite. Note 22 applies to this requirement.
