- Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work for replacing the fire sprinkler system components to include the replacement of existing dry pipe alarm valve, replacement of the existing water motor alarm and for installation of new back flow prevention device and inspectors test valve in Bldg 431 on Goodfellow AFB, Texas. NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990 and the size standard is $12 million. This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Emerging Small Business Concerns. The magnitude of this project is under $25,000. Performance time shall not exceed 60 days. All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered. The anticipated proposal due date is 24 March 03 with anticipated award date of 28 March 03. All requests for clarification relating to this RFQ must be brought to the attention of the contract specialist, TSgt Todd Raines at (915) 654-3800 or SSgt Daniel Newell at (915) 654-5805 or faxed to (915)-654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The anticipated date for a site visit is 14 March 03 at 10:00 AM in building 707, 17th Contracting Squadron. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order that will be awarded as a result of the quotations to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price giving a slightly higher preference to past performance. This solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website on or about 10 March 2003.
