- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Air Combat Command Contracting at Langley AFB, VA is planning to purchase non-personal services for the RQ-1 (Predator) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Contract Aircrew Training (CAT) and Courseware Development (CWD) located at Indian Springs, Nevada. PLEASE NOTE: The acronym UAV is being changed to ROA (REMOTELY OPERATED AIRCRAFT). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611512 (Aircrew Training) and the size code is 21.5M. This procurement is issued full and open. The government intends to make award on or about 26 Jun 03, with a two month phase-in period beginning 1 Aug 03 and a performance start date of 1 Oct 03. The Request for Proposal will be issued on 4 Mar 03 with a response due date of 2 Apr 03. A pre-proposal conference will be held at Indian Springs AFAF, NV on Thursday 13 Mar at 9:00 a.m. local time. Offerors desiring to attend the conference must pre-register at least 3 business days in advance of the conference date.
