- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is (Request for Quotation) RFQ 18-03-027. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-11. This procurement falls within the definition of North American Industry Classification Code 423310. The small business size is standard is 100 employees. SPECIFICATIONS: Item No. 1: Pre-notched Buck Pairs-Peeled 1,021 pair; Item No. 2: Unpeeled 20 feet pine rails 1,635 each; and Item 3: Unpeeled pine dancers 885 each. The poles should be 20 feet long, unpeeled with tip end greater than 4 inches in diameter and the butt end less than 8 inched in diameter. The dancers should be 48 inches long with the tip end greater than 2.5 inches in diameter and the butt end less than 4.5 inches. The bucks should be 5 feet long with a minimum tip end of 6 inches in diameter. The bucks are to matched and kept paired up. Items to be delivered to Heber Ranger District, 2460 So. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items with offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this procurement. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items applies to this procurement.
