- Description
- The purpose of this modification synopsis notice is to clarify the paragraph in the initial synopsis regarding sole source/other than full and open competition per FAR Part 6.302. This requirement sole source as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1 vice 6.302-2. Also, the paragraph should have read as follows noting the 15 days: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15-days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
