Description
Synopsis is for one line item of spares for 28 ea, Radar Display Units, NSN: 5841-NC-C62-3947LG, PN: 429302-100, Application: C-130 Aircraft. Solicitation will be issued to one qualified source: L-3 Communications Display Systems, Alpharetta GA; cage code 63516. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. See WEB page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, URL: http://pkec.robins.af.mil. The approximate issue date will be 22 July 2002 with a response date of 22 Aug 2002. Justification authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specifications, plan, or drawings relating to this procurement described above are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contact award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com. This will be a one-year contract. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
