- Description
- The Alaska VA Healthcare System and Regional Office located at 2925 DeBarr Rd., Anchorage, Alaska 99508 will accept requests for the Eye Refraction and Eyeglass distribution solicitation RFQ-463-0026-03. The contractor'(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, written prescription, eye glass fitting, distribution and adjustments of Government manufactured eye wear for eligible service connected and eligible non-service connected veterans. This contract provides for the required services to be performed within the contractor=92s place of business. This is a Commercial unrestricted solicitation with Hubzone accommodations for small businesses. NAICS Code 621320 Size Standard 6.0 Million. Requests for this solicitation package must be made in writing and will only be accepted from responsible businesses currently engaged in this type of commerce. Estimated contract value is $250,000 to $500,000 over the course of the 1-year contract with four(4) one(1) year options to renew. A Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. This contract will cover the Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska Areas.=20 Estimated proposal opening date is March 21, 2003, at 2:00pm local time. Solicitation documents will be available on or about March 3, 2003.
