- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of Theodolite Calibration Stand. The anticipated quantity is one (1) each of Theodolite Calibration Stand. This item is a semi-permanent calibration stand for theodolites, which contains all required target collimators for calibation of these items. This item is a system consisting of three posts containing collimators and a fourth post upon which the theodolite sits. Three collimators are in one of the posts, one horizontal and the other two set at a 75 degree angle to each other, arranged so that the theodolite sits at the intersection of the lines of sight of the three target collimators. The other two posts face each other and form a T configuration with the other two posts. The instrument's post will have x-y-z position adjustment for fine positioning of the theodolite, and a provision for an optical plummet target. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities. (5) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder. At this time, no solicitation exists. Submit all responses to this notice to the point of contact listed below.
