- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of Synthesized Swept Signal Source with Modulation. The anticipated quantity is two (2) each of Synthesized Swept Signal Source with Modulation. This item is a Synthesized Swept Signal Source to be used in the RF/MW lab. This item requires 10 MHz to 50 Ghz operating range w/AM, FM internal modulation, step attenuator, fast pulse internal modulation, and 1 Hz resolution. At a minimum, an internal time base (reference oscillator) aging rate of 5*10-10/day. The item shall be capable of generating Internal AM and FM Modulation. A Step attenuator that provides for a minimum settable output power level to ?110dBm. The minimum leveled output power is +2.0dBm @ 50GHz. A fast, internal pulse modulation source must be generated. The frequency resolution must be 1Hz. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities. (5) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. A GSA schedule acquisition is anticipated. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder.
