Description
This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of Pneumatic Pressure Gauge Calibrator. The anticipated quantity is seventy six (76) each of Pneumatic Pressure Gauge Calibrator. The Pneumatic Pressure Gauge Calibrator (PPGC) consists of a 10,000-psig transducer based transfer standard, with pressure generation and control. The PPGC boosts bottled nitrogen or other source gas to above 10,000 PSIG. The system will use bottled nitrogen in the pressure gauge and test gauges. The gas booster operates off shop air to boost pressure. Measurement precision is achieved by using 3 or more multi-range transfer quality transducers. An on-board barometer allows switching between gauge and absolute modes. The calibrator operates with bottled dry gas, (nitrogen). Shop air is used to boost the pressure up to 10,000 psig. Measurement precision is achieved by using 3 multi-range transfer quality transducers. Measurement uncertainty is better than +/-0.015% full scale of the active range. The software runs complete automated calibration sequences, calculates and reports linearity and hysteresis of device under test, creates data files and on-board test reports. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firms capabilities. (5) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder. At this time, no solicitation exists. Submit all responses to this notice to the point of contact listed below. All responses/questions should be submitted to Glenna Pound Contracting officer via e-mail at Glenna.Pound@afmetcal.af.mil or by Fax at 740-788-5157 or mail to 813 Irving-wick Dr W Heath Oh 43056-6116 if e-mail is not possible.
