- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of Precision Air Data Standard. The anticipated quantity is eight(8)each of Precision Air Data Standard. The Precision Air Data Standard (PADS) is an integrated, bench mounted, automated pressure calibration system with both absolute and gauge modes of operation. It is a primary standard with traceability to NIST via weight or force, length, temperature, and vacuum. The PADS is intended to support transducer based Air Data Test Sets and Calibrators. The PADS is an integrated calibration system covering the pressure range of 0.3 to 110 in. Hg with both absolute and gauge mode operation. Operation is fully automated, including setting individual on demand pressure points as well as multi-point calibration sequences and data acquisition from the Test Instrument being calibrated (when TI has an RS232 or IEEE-488 interface). The PADS operator interface is through a dedicated system controller with display, keyboard and pointing device. The PADS shall have a maximum uncertainty of 0.0005 in. Hg from .32 to 32 in. Hg and 0.001 from 32 to 110 in. Hg. PADS provides for the automated calibration of air data test sets and calibrators.
