- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a "sole source" basis a purchase order to Asea Brown Boveri Inc. 501 Merritt 7, Norwalk, CT 06851. The purchase order will be for Transformer Repair, to include oil draining, storage, processing, LV bushing replacement, oil refining, and testing of Asea Transformer KA4A 4A at Hoover Dam. ABB is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of A3, A4, A6, A7 and A8/9 Transfomers. They possess all design calculations, drawings and institutional experience necessary to accomplash the Transformer Repair of the A4 transformer. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is March 17, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offers shall show contractor's capability to do the required work and quotes are to be submitted no later then March 14, 2003, 4:00 P.M., PST.
