- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons-Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award, to a qualified small business, for the provision of (1) Dental Hygienist for the United States Penitentiary and Federal Prison Camp in Lompoc, California. The successful contractor shall provide services which include, but are not limited to, the following: Dental Hygienist- perform examination, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, recommendations for care, infection control duties, and patient education. Performance standards are based upon community standards. Services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The contract term shall consist of a base period extending from the date of award through 9/30/2003, with four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 14, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about April 11, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
