Description

FCC Victorville intends to award a non-personal Service Contract for one Islamic Spiritual Guide for the Life Connection Program. The Contractor will provide religious instruction based on their own expertise as it relates to the core curriculum materials. The Contractor will work closely with the Chaplain Program Manager and other program staff to assist in the development of the program and toguage the progress of the individual participates. The Faith Based Release Program is a multi faith program, so altthough the instruction will follow the tenats of Islamic Religion, the contractor may work with participants who follow other faiths. Duties will be preformed at the Federal Correctional Institution Victorville. The solicitation will be available on or after February 28, 2003 and will solely be distributed through General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies will not be available. This site provides for downloading instruction about this acquisition, including solicitation qmendments will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submitt an offer which will be considered for award. The estimate date for receipt of bids is March 17, 2003.
