- Description
- This solicitation is RESTRICTED. Set-aside as a competitive 8(a) limited to certified construction firms located within the geographic area serviced by SBA region IV. Only one firm will be selected for this solicitation. Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is presently seeking services of Concrete and Asphalt paving contractors in the Albany Ga. area. The scope of work includes: new construction and/or repair of subgrade, base and asphalt or concrete paving and incidental related work. In addition to removal or altering existing work in such a manner, as to prevent injury or damage to any portions of the existing work that remains is required. At the completion of operations, existing work shall be in a condition equal or better than that which existed before new work started. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract not to exceed 365 days from the date of contract award. This contract will include four one-year options and costs including all options will not exceed $12,000,000. The estimated projects for year one could total $2,000,000. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. The Government guarantees a minimum amount of $20,000 for the base year paid only once for the life of the contract. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. The website for CCR is http://www.ccr2000.com. NAICS (formerly SIC) is 235710 and Size Standard is $12M. Label lower right corner of outside mailing envelope with "IDIQ Concrete/Paving Albany, 03-R-0149". The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
