Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command seeks additional engineering support services for the Advanced Deployable System (ADS). The ADS program is in the Engineeering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Phase. Under this phase the contractor is developing the design and manufacturing processes for the system, which will then be validated by successful completion of OPEVAL/TECHEVAL. This modification to contract N00039-00-C-2223 with Lockheed Martin Corporation intends to increase the scope of the engineering services contract line item on a sole-source, Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) basis. Contract N00039-00-C-2223 was awarded to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval electronics & Surveillance Systems-Manassas, 9500 Godwin Drive, Manassas, VA 20110-4157 on 22 September 2000. This requirement will include additional engineering services managed through task authorization letters. This modification is anticipated for award in May 2003 with completion of all tasking anticipated by December 2005 (the current period of performance for this CLIN) and increases total staff-hours by about 10 staff-years or about 20,000 staff-hours. The amount of this modification is expected to be about $2,500,000. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 54130.
