- Description
- The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Orasure Technologies Inc. under the authority of 13.501(a). The contractor shall provide 15,000 HIV-1 rapid test kits and 600 Test Control Kits. The test kit is a rapid point of care fingerstic FDA approved field test that is extremely sensitive and specific. Results are available within 20 - 60 minutes. The test kit is a critical component of the prescreening portion of the smallpox immunization program.
