- Description
- Service to provide wireless communication to all East Coast Marine Corps Commands and Activities. Wireless communication services will include local, regional, national and international. The Regional Contracting Office, MCRD/ERR is considering contracting for wireless communication for one year with four option periods. The base period shall begin approximately 30 days after the date of award for a period of 12 months. Option periods will be for each subsequent 12 month period. Presolicitation/preproposal conferences will be held on 18 and 19 March 2003 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina 29905 with any interested contractors. Each contractor will be allotted one hour to discuss and provide recommendations on constructing the requirement’s statement of work to standard commercial practices. Any contractor interested must call John Westmoreland or Ch ris Wilson 843-228-2188/4118 or e-mail westmorelandjw@mcrdpi.usmc.mil and wilsonce@mcrdpi.usmc.mil to schedule a one-hour time slot for the conference. A solicitation with the statement of work will be posted to www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov approx 60 days after the conferences. All responsible sources will be considered by this agency
