Description

NA By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Chicago District – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces its intention to award a sole source contract to the Lake County Forest Preserve for the performance of habitat restoration and refores tation at the North Libertyville Estates, near Libertyville, IL. The mitigation project is to take place on lands owned by the Lake County Forest Preserve District and without access to those lands the project cannot be implemented. The primary focus of t his project is to create forested wetlands and enhance habitat for the Federally threatened Eastern Prairie Fringed Orchid. The period of performance is approximately 24 months. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be firm-fixed-price. This notice is NOT a Request for Proposals, therefore, NO solicitation documents will be issued. Award is anticipated on or about 15 April 2003.
