Description

NA PRON: AX3F5145AX, NSN: 3040-01-172-8192, PN: 7-311340092, Quantity 37 plus two 100% options each applicable to the AH-64 Airframe. F.O. B. Destination with a quantity of 37 each going to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 37 each, 413 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 37 each, 275 DACA. Required delivery with Alternate II Clause is 37 each, 344 DACA. This item is restricted to The Purdy Corporation, Cage Code: 15152 and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Cage Code: 8V613 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design cap ability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requir ements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
