- NA The items to procure: Spring, Helical Comp; NSN (a) 5360-01-341-7432, (b) 5360-01-340-7916, (c) 5360-01-340-6074; PN (a) 12591486, (b) 12591481, (c) 12591442; manufactured from steel, spring wire, ASTN A229: Class II, 0.54 & 0.048 diameter. Size range is 1.8 inches to 2.73 inches free length X 0.402 to 1.8 inches diameter with a black oxide finish. The solicitation will result in a 5-year firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. Guaranteed minimum quantities will be stated in the solicitation. FOB is Destination. For use on the M119 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 17 May 2003. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wis hing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments there to. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
