- Description
- Description in English and Spanish-The Inter-American Foundation (IAF) through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt, intends to issue an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract providing for time and materials and fixed-price orders to obtain professional services to support IAF work in promoting grassroots development in Venezuela. The contractor will provide information to organizations, in person and/or by telephone that wish to submit proposals for funding to the IAF and will clarify criteria and issues such as the participation of potential partners. The Project Coordinator (PC) will coordinate and lead an orientation visit to new IAF grantees, conduct or participate in approximately four to six dissemination activities per year, e.g., presentations, speeches, and writing articles. Examples of tasks the PC will perform are organize and conduct one field-based learning exchange for grantees to share information about IAF grants, and organize two one-day regional meetings of IAF grantees to socialize program results for the Venezuelan development community, attend donor meetings as requested by the Foundation and assist and meet with IAF personnel visiting Venezuela, provide monthly activity and financial reports to the COTR on all activities carried out under this contract. The IAF may require other technical assistance related to services for IAF grantees, these will be described in appropriate task order requests. One of the requirements for the contract is fluency in English and Spanish. The contract will be for one year with four option year periods. Descripci?n en ingl?s y espa?ol ? La Fundaci?n Interamericana (IAF), por medio de la Oficina de Deuda P?blica del Departamento del Tesoro de los Estados Unidos, se propone emitir un contrato de plazo indefinido por una suma indefinida que prev? tiempo y materiales y pedidos de precio fijo para obtener servicios profesionales en apoyo de la labor de la IAF de promover el desarrollo de base en Venezuela. El contratista proporcionar? informaci?n en persona o por tel?fono, o de ambas maneras, a las organizaciones que deseen presentar propuestas de financiamiento a la IAF y esclarecer?n criterios y cuestiones tales como la participaci?n de posibles socios. El Coordinador del Proyecto (CP) coordinar? y dirigir? una visita de orientaci?n a nuevos donatarios de la IAF, realizar? unas cuatro a seis actividades de divulgaci?n por a?o o participar? en ellas, por ejemplo, presentaciones, alocuciones y art?culos escritos. Entre los ejemplos de las tareas del Coordinador del Proyecto figuran las de organizar y llevar a cabo intercambios de aprendizaje en el terreno para que los donatarios compartan informaci?n acerca de las donaciones de la IAF y organicen dos reuniones regionales de donatarios de la IAF de un d?a de duraci?n para socializar los resultados de los programas para la comunidad de desarrollo de Venezuela, asistir a reuniones de donatarios tal como lo ha solicitado la Fundaci?n, ayudar al personal de la IAF que visite Venezuela y reunirse con ?l, y proporcionar informes mensuales de actividades y financieros al Representante T?cnico del Jefe de Contrataciones acerca de todas las actividades realizadas en virtud del presente contrato. La IAF puede requerir otra asistencia t?cnica relacionada con servicios para los donatarios de la IAF, que se describir?n en solicitudes apropiadas de orden de tareas. Uno de los requisitos del contrato es el dominio del ingl?s y el espa?ol. El contrato tendr? un a?o de duraci?n, con cuatro per?odos optativos de un a?o.
