- Description
- Provide Single Engine Air Tanker flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire suppression programs. Item 1 - two airplanes for a 180 day period starting on or about June 23, 2003 and continuing through September 29, 2003 at Pocatello, Idaho. Item 2 - one airplane for a 123 day period starting on or about May 12, 2003 and continuing through September 11, 2003 at Grand Junction, Colorado. Item 3 - one airplane for a 90 day period starting on or about June 15, 2003 and continuing through September 21, 2003 at Bishop, California. Item 4 - one airplane for a 90 day period starting on or about June 15, 2003 and continuing through September 21, 2003 at Susanville, California. Item 5 - two airplanes for a 102 day period starting on or about July 15, 2003 and continuing through September 3, 2003 at Billings, Montana. The contract periods will be one year with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contracts requires a single engine agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 799 US gallons of material weighing 7,350 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 3, 2003.
