- Description
- Synopsis: This is a sole source acquisition to Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. - BF Goodrich Aerospace Aircraft Integrated Systems Motion Controls. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for the modification/upgrade of HH60J Electro-Mechanical Actuator, NSN: 1680-01-211-2856, P/N: DL2155M12, modified upgraded to NSN: 1680-01-470-5073, P/N: DL2155M29. Estimated quantity is 15 EA. NSN: 1680-01-211-2856, P/N: DL2155M12, Rework of HH60J Electro-Mechanical Actuator. Estimated quantity is 25 EA. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for those items. Offerors must possess NAVICP-PICA certification as a repair agent and must provide proof of such prior to contract award. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price/requirements type contract with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Simmonds Precision - BF Goodrich, as the only known NAVICP-PICA certified repair agent. Contract period will be one (1)base year plus four (4) option years. Solicitation release date is anticipated to be 09 October 2002, and proposals must be received by 08 November 2002, 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Request for solicitation must be in writing.
