- This requirement was previously synopsized/issued under as a combined synopsis/solicitation on 26 Feb 03. The purpose of this synopsis is to amend the previous combined synopsis/solicitation. The previous synopsis for this requirement indicated that drawings would be available for download. However, due to the drawings being labeled as ?Export-Controlled Technical Data?, the drawings are not electronically available. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate Clauses 5252.227-9401 Notice Regarding the Dissemination of Export-Controlled Technical Data (JAN 1992) and 5252.227-9402 Qualified U.S. Contractors for Export-Controlled Technical Data (JAN 1992). The clauses and the applicable DD Form 2345 can be downloaded at http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Interested parties must be certified through the Commander Defense Logistics Services Center, Battle Creek, MI 49017-308 4, website http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP/default.asp to receive a copy of the drawings. Once a vendor has been certified through the Commander Defense Logistics Services Center, a copy of the completed DD Form 2345 must be provided to NUWC Division Keyport prior to issuance of the drawings. The completed forms may be sent via facsimile to 360-396-7036. The due date for quotes has been extended to 14 Mar 03. Numbered Note 8 applies.
